Question:
I am looking for a snow chain to fit 285/ 70R / 17 wide truck tires.

Helpful Expert Reply:
We have several tire chain options for 285/70-17 tires. For the best traction I recommend Pewag chains # PWE3229SC. These chains have square links for the best grip in snow and ice and they are reversible. When one side wears out just flip the chains over and it is like a whole new set. I have included a link to a video review of these chains for you.
I also recommend rubber adjusters # PW99 to help keep the chains tight and centered. Be sure to consult the vehicle owner's manual for specific information on the use of chains. I have also included a link to our help article on tire chains for you.
