Winch Mounting Plate Recommendation for a 2014 Polaris 400 Sportsman and Badlands Winch

I have a 2014 polaris sportsman 400. Will a badland winch work with BDW15151 mount.

Yes, the Badlands winch mounting pattern is compatible with the winch plate part # BDW15151 that is also listed as a fit for your 2014 Polaris 400 Sportsman.
I spoke to my contact at Bulldog Winch and he told me that their winch mount that you referenced was designed to fit the standard winch mounting bolt pattern dimensions of 10 inch wide by 4-1/2 inches deep.
He said they know this will work with the more popular brands of winches like Superwinch and Badlands.
