Hitch Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek XV with 1-1/4 inch Hitch

dont have car to check , a gift for my son and wifes subaru 1 - 1/4 receiver 2foot 60 x 20 tray will your adaptor work on her crosstrek?

The hitches available for your wife's 2013 Subaru Crosstrek XV would be a Class I hitch and the MT70355 was designed for Class II hitches and up.
I have a solution for you, but the adapter would not work.
Your best solution will be to go with a Class I hitch compatible cargo carrier like the # C18145. I attached a review video showing it being demoed on a similar Crosstrek as your wife's.
