Could the Carr Mega Step Fold-Up Step be Mounted Directly to a Wall
Question:
Question about the Carr Mega Step Foldup Step - part # CARR190011. I want to mount it flat again the side support board of a pier to use as a fold-down step to get down into my boat from the dock. From the photos of your Step, it looks as if there are 4 drilled holes at the 4 corners of the plate and that the trailer-hitch mechanism can be removed so the plate will fit and can be bolted against a flat surface. Is that true? Thanks,

You are correct. If you wanted to remove the hitch brackets of the Carr Mega Step Fold-Up Step # CARR190011 so that you could use the 4 outside mounting holes of the step you definitely could.
It would just be a matter of selecting the correct install hardware for you application.
