Best Setting on the Edge Evolution Programmer for Performance and Speed on a 2006 Ford F-150
Question:
I have a 2006 f150 5.4L. I have catback exhaust and 305/55/20. Just wanted to know what the best custom settings would be for performance and speed.

I spoke with my contact at Edge. He stated that for the Evolution, # EP59YR, the best setting would be the pre-programmed High Performance Program. This requires using at least 91 octane fuel or higher. He then stated to enter your tire size via the custom options menu.
He also stated that customization such as advancing the timing, or other mods could hurt more than help, and should be done by a qualified professional. But, you should be able to gauge what changes need to be made after running the High Performance Program for awhile to best suit your needs and your 2006 Ford F-150. I have included a link to the installation details for the Evolution below.
