Recommended Trunk-Mount Bike Rack for 2007 Honda Accord 4-Door with Factory Spoiler

Question:

I am looking for a trunk mount bike rack for 2007 Honda Accord 4 door with a factory spoiler. I am having trouble determining if there is a trunk mount rack that will work with this spoiler. some sites say thule or saris will but then other sites say those same manufacturers will not fit. can you suggest a bike rack for me? 2-3 bikes, one is ladies bike. I only have 2 bikes but if the 3 bike rack provides easier access then that would be better. Thank you.

Spoilers can make it tough to find a good fit for a trunk-mount bike carrier but there are specialty products made that can work just fine on vehicles like your 2007 Honda Accord sedan. For a 2-bike rack suited to your car I suggest the Hollwood Racks Expedition # HRF6-2. This rack features an arched frame design that extends up and over a rear-mounted spoiler.

Even though you have only 2 bikes to transport you might consider the 3-bike carrier since it will give you more room for loading your bikes. This will help avoid contact between them.

If any of the bikes does not have a horizontal top frame tube you also want an adapter bar like # UB01. This item simply connects between the seat and handlebar posts to provide a level mounting surface to mate with the carrier's arms.
