Should 1 or 2 sets of Tire Chains Be Used On Ford F-350 with 35x12.5x18 Tires

Question:

I have a Ford F-350 4x4 running 35x12.5x18 tires on a 6 inch lift. Is one pair of PWE2441S sufficient for traction on unplowed dirt roads? Should I install the one pair on the front or rear tires?

Tire chains on both the front and back tires will provide more traction than if only one set of chains are installed on either the front or back tires. Sometimes one set of chains will provide enough traction, but two pairs of chains will provide additional traction. Additionally, wider tires do not always do as well in the snow and ice as skinnier tires, so for your wide tires 2 pairs of chains will likely work better for you.
