What adapter do I need to convert a factory pre-wired see pictures 7-way to a normal 4-way plug for my trailer?

For a simple 7-way to 4-way adapter you would want the part # PK12716. This will plug right into the 7-way you sent in a picture of and will provide you with a 4-way.

Since your tow vehicle is a 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan you may need to use the # C35FR. This adapter would be needed instead if your trailer has LED taillights on it.
