Is There a Way to Install Hopkins Back Up Camera on a Vehicle with 4-way Trailer Wiring

Question:

I have a 2013 Outback. Bought the wiring hookup from you, plugs right up to factory installed stuff. But I think its a 4 pin connection? Bottom line, is this unit feasible for my vehicle? I dont want to go thru tons of hassle.

The Hopkins Backup Camera part # HM50002 that you referenced can be installed on a vehicle that does not have a 7-way on it like yours. You will need to tap into the reverse light circuit like the video I attached shows. For a circuit tester you would want something like the part # PTW2993.

Your 4-way would not be needed in any way for the install.
