Recommendation for Timbren Springs for 2011 Ford F250 Super Duty Towing a Pop-Up Camper

Question:

I need help choosing the right Timbrens for my 2011 F-250 SuperCab with camper package. Half the year I haul a pop-up camper in the back of my 2011 F-250 SuperCab. The rest of the time, I have very little weight in the back of the truck. According to the truck camper loading information that came with my truck, the Cargo Weight Rating is 2418 pounds. With passengers, the camper and our stuff, we run about 1800-2000 pounds of cargo. The two Timbren choices are the FR250SDG and the FRTT350F. I wrote Timbren and asked them which one I should get. I expected them to recommend the lighter duty FR250SDG but the rep at Timbren Sales said, We recommend the FRTT350F for the pop-up camper application. I thought Id get a second opinion from you folks. What do you think? Thanks

If it were my truck, I would go with the # TFR250SDG.

Timbren probably recommended the # TFRTT350F to just be extra cautious about the weight of the camper. The # TFR250SDG system will have no problem carrying the stated camper load weight rating.
