What is the effective stretched length of this bungee cord?

I spoke with my contact at Erickson about their Bungee Cord with Aluminum Carabiners # EM07039. My contact confirmed that the bungee will stretch approximately 1/2 the original length, making the stretched length approximately 4-1/2 feet, or 54 inches.
The bungee cord is not rated with a working load limit.
