Installing Brake Controller In 2003 Ford F250 SD Using Factory Brake Controller Pigtail
Question:
i have a 2003 ford super duty with the old Tekonsha brake controller. The wires are brown = illumination and is not hooked up Dark Blue =trailer brake electric feed Red = trailer brake control feed white = ground LT green = stop lamp feed to brake control I am looking at installing prodigy 2 .Is possible? What are the wires to match

The wires you describe make it sound like you're using the factory brake controller pigtail that came with the truck, usually in the glove box.
You sure can install a Prodigy P2 in your 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty. The P2 includes a pigtail that plugs into the rear of the controller. The pigtail wires are red, white, blue and black. The wires would connect to your factory pigtail as follows:
Red factory pigtail wire to black wire exiting rear of the controller
Light green factory pigtail wire to red wire exiting rear of controller
White factory pigtail wire to white controller wire
Dark blue factory pigtail wire to blue controller wire
