Recommended Tonneau Cover for 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Transporting Bicycles in Truck Bed

Question:

I am looking for a secure cover that I can haul two bikes, laying on their sides, across country. I like this cover but looks like it may not be very easy to load the bikes. I could remove the cover once I get to my destination to make moving them easier, but would rather not. Would their be a better cover for my purpose? Thanks. 2014 Silverado, 6.6foot box

For your bike-carrying application I suggest a hard folding cover. You can use the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK26121 which is a 4-section aluminum cover. This cover's installation is shown in the linked video. It will fit 6-1/2-foot-bed trucks with or without the CMS.

The tonneau covers offered for the various versions of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 can be selected using the linked page. Just choose your 6-1/2-foot bed length, either with or without the OEM Cargo Management System (CMS), and you'll see all of the covers that will fit your particular truck. Do please note the cover # EX83835 that you referenced fits Toyota trucks only.
