PSI Rating of the Karrier ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10501
Question:
The Kenda R235/85/F states 3950 lb at 95 PSI. In other parts of your ads and advice column, the 3950 lb capacity of this tire is rated at 110 PSI. Which is it ? Will most rims hold 110 PSI ?

The Karrier ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10501 at one point was rated for 110 psi but it just recently (within the past month), had the psi rating changed to 95 as it's max to get the 3,950 lb capacity.
Most of the time the rim is not the limiting factor for the overall psi limit. Normally it is the valve stem that will have to be rated high enough for the psi rating of the tire.
