Tire Chain Recommendation for a 2012 Subaru Impreza

Hi There, saw your video from youtube and i have a 2012 subaru sport premium, very similar to the one in your video. my question is how many chain do i need? since the car is AWD, do i need four chains?

For an all wheel drive vehicle having tire chains on all wheels would be your best bet, but at the minimum you want to go with chains on the main drive wheels. Some all wheel drive vehicles send most of the power to the rear wheels while others send it to the front wheels. I believe on your vehicle you have the ability to adjust where the power goes.

The video you referenced has the cables part # PW1038 installed on the rear wheels. I attached this link for you to check out.

What you will need to do is check out the other link I attached to see all of the tire sizes we have available for your 2012 Subaru Impreza and select the one you have. All of the correct chains will then be listed.

You will also need to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine if there are any restrictions on tire chain usage.
