If you can find the plate near the coupler of the trailer you should see the axle capacities listed there. Another option is that you can measure the diameter of the axles to get a good idea what the capacities would be.
Typical Axle Diameters Based on Axle Capacity
- 1,000-lb - 2,000-lb Axles: 1-1/2 inch - 1-3/4 inch diameter
- 3,500-lb Axles: 2-3/8 inch diameter
- 6,000-lb - 7,200-lb Axles: 3 inch diameter
- 8,000-lb Axles: 3-1/2 inch diameter
- 9,000-lb Axles: 4 inch diameter
- 10,000-lb Or more axles: 5 inch diameter
Since you said your axles are 2 inch it most likely is around a 3,500 lb axle, but you might want to remeasure to be sure.
For a 3,500 lb 3-leaf spring that measures 25-1/4 inches you would want the part # e57SR. You should note that springs have a tendency to stretch over time and that this spring be 25-1/4 inches would most likely be the exact length of your current springs when they were new.
