What would prevent installation of the RP30126 on a 2007 model SuperDuty?

The correct Reese Elite fifth wheel rail kit you would need for your 2007 Ford Super Duty is the part # RP30073. Since you have a short bed truck you would need the slider hitch part # RP30144.
The # RP30126 is designed for newer Ford truck frames so it would not fit and work at all.
For a 7-way for the bed of your truck you would want the part # 54701-003.
