Can Tire Chains from 2001 Toyota Sienna Be Used on 2012 Ford Mustang with 215/65R17 Tires
Question:
I have a snow chains sizes for a Sienna 2001 I like to know if I can use this chain in mustang 2012 with this size tire:R215/65 / R17. Thanks

According to the online version of the owner's manual for your 2012 Ford Mustang (page 194) Ford states the car can be fitted with snow chains in emergency conditions and when driving in areas where they may be required by law. It further states that only low-profile S-Class chains should be used, only on the rear tires, and then only if the tire size is 225/60R17. If chains are used on any other tire size damage to the car can result. Therefore you should not use chains on your Mustang's 215/65R17 tires.
