Can I use the Swagman XTC-2 on my 2009 Toyota Rav4 with a spare tire mounted on the back of the vehicle?

The Swagman XTC-2 Two Bike Carrier for 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch Trailer Hitches, item # S64670, will most likely work on your Rav4. You will need to measure to confirm that it will fit though. It is especially important to check the measurement if you have a tire larger than the original spare on the rear of the vehicle.
Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole in the trailer hitch to the farthest back part of the spare tire. If this measurement is less than 9 inches, the Swagman XTC-2 bike rack will work just fine.
Along with the bike rack you may want to consider the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin for Swagman Hitch Racks, item # S64029, to secure the rack to your vehicle.
