What are the Wire Functions for the Ford LED Lighted Emblem

Question:

I have a 2007 F150 FX2 Supercrew. On part #RP86620, do you provide what wire colors I tap into on the taillights to make this function correctly?

Expert Reply:

For lighted Ford emblem # RP86620 the white wire is ground, brown connects to the running light circuit, red is for brake lights. There is a conversion module that the red wire goes to and on the output side there is a green wire (right turn signal and brake light wire) and a yellow wire (left turn signal and brake light wire).

The module is used on vehicles that have the brake lights and turn signals on the same circuit. For 2007 Ford F-150 should have combined turn signals and brake lights on the same bulb.

To find the correct truck wires you would need to use a circuit tester such as # ALL640595 and then use the included quick splice connectors to splice into them.
