Recommended Trailer Hitch And Bike Carrier For Fat Bikes On 2003 Chevrolet Malibu

not hauling a trailer but installing a bike rack to hold 2 Fatt bikes. Have this been done, what size stem do I need to have for the bike rack, This isnt a Malibu but its the rack I am getting.

It sounds like you are looking for a trailer hitch for your 2003 Malibu to carry a bike rack.

The trailer hitch I recommend for your Malibu is the Draw-Tite trailer hitch, part # 36233. This is a Class ll hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening.

When you are choosing a bike rack you want to make sure that it will have enough clearance at the rear of your vehicle. I have attached a helpful article that explains how you take measurements to make sure you can attach a bike carrier.

Thanks for the photo of the bike carrier you are interested in. We do offer platform-style bike carriers that can carry fat bikes.
