Fifth Wheel Tailgate Recommendations For 2001 GMC Sierra
Question:
Tailgate for my 2001 Sierra C3. Also what parts will I need to mount this itemall bolts,cables, etc from my old tailgate were removed.

The tailgates we offer for your 2001 Sierra are designed for fifth wheel use.
We offer three tailgates made from three different materials, and all are designed to fit your Sierra if it is not a Stepside.
If you are interested in a steel tailgate I recommend part # VGM-99-100 and for a composite tailgate you can check out part # VGM-99-4000. The hardware for installation is not included. These tailgates use the existing hinges on your truck, but they do come with the lock and hardware needed to install the locks.
I have attached links to product review videos for these tailgates you can check out. If you are looking for a replacement for your OEM tailgate we do not offer them and I recommend contacting a dealership for a replacement.
