Will Yakima Outdoorsman 300 for Full Size Trucks fit 2010 Ford F-150
Question:
I have a 2010 F- 150 crew cab with a 6.5 box when I go to place an order for the Outdoorsman 300 Truck Bed Rack I dont think it is giving me the taller of the two heights to make it over the cab. it says 26.5 but I thought they came in 29inch as well and feel I need that to clear the roof of the cab. I want to carry two 12foot Kayaks

If you want to use the Yakima Outdoorsman 300 Ladder Rack with 29 inch uprights, you can use part # Y01137-Y00410. This part number comes with 66 inch crossbars.
If you want the 29 inch uprights with 78 inch crossbars you can use part # Y01137-Y00411.
For Ford F-150's beginning with the model year in 2009, Yakima determined that the 26-1/2 inch uprights, # Y01136-Y00410, are sufficient to clear the cab of F-150s since the truck bed sides are higher. However, you can use the longer uprights to gain additional clearance if needed.
