Does the Prodigy RF Brake Controller have to be Paired for Every Use
Question:
I has a brake RF brake controller installed on my Rpod, for use with my Lexus GX 470. We took a weekend trip a couple of weeks ago and everything worked fine. I keep the trailer in storage, and am planning on taking the trailer out for another outing this weekend. Do I need to go through the whole re-synch process, or will I be able to just plug in and go? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
The Prodigy RF brake controller # TK94FR and its hand held remote will remain paired with each other after the initial set up but you may have to run through the pairing process again if the trailer has been sitting for several months. If it is a couple of weeks you should be good to go!
