Location for Hole to be Drilled in Bed of 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Short Bed for Gooseneck

Can u tell me what is measurement you need from the rear of the bed needs to be on a 2015 chevy 2500 61/2 ft bed

When installing the # 9465-56 Hide-A-Goose hitch in your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD short bed, a hole must be drilled in the bed of the truck. Mark and drill a 1/4” hole 44-7/8 inches from the rear of the bed forward centered between the two wheel wells.

A hole saw will be used to enlarge the hole to the proper size. I attached an install video that shows how this hitch would be installed in a similar 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD as yours.
