Bolt-On Frame-Mount Hitch Receiver for 5th Wheel Trailer to Hold 2-Inch Bike Rack

Question:

Hi Guys, I am looking for a frame bolt-on receiver rack for my 2010 Open Range 5th wheel. I have a Hollywood rack with a 2inch Class 3 size. Can you dial me into the one that fits my rig and the Hollywood rack? Obviously I am looking for a beefy structure, strong enough to hold at least 2-3 bikes. Thank you.

We offer several options in a bolt-on frame-mount hitch receiver for use on the back of your 5th wheel trailer. Just click on the link provided to see them all. You'll want to check a few things before deciding on your preferred hitch.

First, you want to measure your 5th wheel's frame, from outside to outside. Our available hitches can fit frame widths from 18-inches all the way up to 72-inches. Second you'll want to check with the trailer manufacturer (giving them your VIN) to find out what the frame tongue weight (TW) capacity is for your particular trailer. We offer hitches with either 350-lb or 500-lb TW ratings. If a trailer frame and hitch carry different ratings, then the lower-rated item determines overall capacity.
All of these hitches have a 2-inch receiver opening.

Now for your bike rack. Only a special RV-rated bike carrier should be used on the back of a trailer or motorhome. You cannot install on your trailer a rack intended for use on a passenger car. The forces at the rear of a trailer will damage a standard bike rack.

We do not carry any RV-rated bike carriers from Hollywood Racks but we do offer many choices from brands like Rola and Swagman. For 3 bikes you can use either the Swagman Original # S64152-2. We also offer 4-bike versions of the Swagman rack as well as others that you can see on the link provided. Just click on the filters for number of bikes, rack style etc.
