Under-Bed 5th Wheel Hitch Installation Kit for 2010 Ram 2500 Longbed for Reese Hitch

Question:

Need to know what I need to put a Reese fifth wheel hitch from a new f-450 in my 2010 2500 dodge long bed. Do not have any rails or holes in my truck now. Would like to have holes under bed. Thanks for your help.

To install a Reese M5 Series 5th wheel hitch like their 20K # RP30921 in your 2010 Ram 2500 long bed you will need an under-bed installation kit # RP30074. The linked video illustrates installation of this kit in a 2009 Ram 3500. It includes frame brackets, cross members and all required installation hardware. The install kit's 4 small mounting holes sit flush with truck bed which means that when you don't need the hitch in place for towing you can have full access to your truck bed for cargo.
