Roadmaster Rear Sway Bar and Extended U-Bolt Kit Recommendation for a 2014 Ford F-53
Question:
How can you determine if the coach will need the extended u-bolt kit for a rear anti-sway bar for a Ford F53 motor home? Do you have an installation video for this sway bar?

Expert Reply:
You will need to check the U-bolts you have currently to determine if there is enough thread for the 1/2 inch spacer that comes with the # 1139-144. You would need room for the spacer and still have 3 threads showing on the u-bolt. That is the only confirmed way to know if you will need the long U-bolt kit part # RM-590050-00 as well.
Also, you should note that u-bolts should only be torqued once so going with this kit now will allow you to have everything you would need and you would know that you have long enough u-bolts.
