Parts Needed to Install Trailer Brakes on a 2,200 lb Dexter Axle

Question:

I am looking to install brakes on my trailer. I have a 2200 LBS Dexter Axle with 4 bolt flanges for brake plates. It is a little guy trailer with 14 inch rims with 5 bolt wheel pattern that is 2 1/2 to the first bolt hole and about 4 1/2 across to the 2nd,. I think it is a 4 1/2 bolt pattern. Do you have a kit for this or do you put the parts in a box?

A Dexter 2,200 lb axle is going to have inner and outer bearings of L44649 so for a hub that has the same wheel bolt pattern as you and will fit you would want the part # 8-257-5UC3.

For a brake assemblies you would need the part # 23-47 for the left hand side and part # 23-48 for the right hand side.
