Ball Mount Recommendation for Honda Pilot that Needs 4-1/4 inches of Drop
Question:
Hello, I recently measured the hitch height 16.25 and the trailer height 12. This allowed for a of 4.25. I purchased a ball mount with 5.25inch as this was the closest one that allowed for the trailer to be nose down instead of nose up. Is this correct, or should I have gone with the ball mount with a 4inch height?

To tow your trailer level based on the dimensions you listed you are correct, you would want a ball mount that has 4-1/4 inches of drop.
The closest drop we have would be 4 inches like the part # 2753. Since the rear suspension of your Honda Pilot will sag slightly with the tongue weight of your trailer this ball mount should be perfect.
For a 2 inch ball you would want the # 63845 or for a 1-7/8 inch ball part # 19260.
