Recommended Front Axle Suspension Enhancement Kit for 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ with Snowplow
Question:
I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a 3 inch lift and I want to use these for the front coils for a 500 lb snow plow I just purchased. Would these work, which ones would I need, and how do you install them?

The AirLift 1000 Front Axle Air Helper Spring Kit # AL80702 is a confirmed fit for both 2WD and 4WD versions of your 2004 Wrangler (it also fits the Unlimited). However there is no spacer available for use with this kit to compensate for your lifted suspension. My contact at Air Lift advised that they may be able to help you select an alternative kit that's compatible with your lifted suspension; you will need to measure the inside diameter and height of your front coil springs with the Jeep sitting on level ground without the plow installed. If you care to let me know those dimensions I'll be glad to contact Air Lift for you.
You have other options as well if your Jeep is a 4WD; you can use the SumoSprings Kit # CSS-1168F. This consists of two microcellular polyurethane foam springs that simply insert into your front coil springs. These serve to stiffen and support your front end and will reduce body roll. These are ideal for use along with a snow plow.
