Is a Base Plate Adapter Needed to Tow a 1997 Geo Tracker with a Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar

Do I need a supplemental bracket for Roadmaster Sterling tow bar, serial number is 025004. Will be dinghy towing a 1997 Geo Tracker.

Does you 1997 Geo Tracker have a Blue Ox Base Plate kit # BX3508 for a 2-door or part # BX3505 for a 4-door installed on it?
If so, then to use a Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar # RM-576 you will need to also use the # RM-031-5 that you referenced. Since the serial number of your tow bar is above 14,501 this adapter will fit.
