Backspacing of Dexstar # AM20766 Steel Conventional Wheel

Question:

Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel w/ +0.5inch Offset - 16inch x 6inch Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 - Black I was just curious what the backspacing was on these wheels. I have the 90s chevy wheels on my 1949 GMC 150 and they are rubbing on the wheel bearings. I hope this is 3inch or less of backspacing..

The Americana Conventional Steel Wheel, part # AM22691, has a positive offset of .5 inches. This means that the mounting pad of the wheel would sit .5 inches closer to the outside of the rim which moves the tire closer to the vehicle. This would make the back spacing 3-1/2 inches plus the width of the tire flange, which is about 3/4 of an inch. This would mean that from the inner edge of the rim to the mounting pad that sits against the wheel hub would be about 4-1/4 inches.
