Replacement Gearbox for Venture Landing Gear that Will Not Raise or Lower Trailer
Question:
when extending or retracting will not move. motor runs and gear box sounds jumps back and forth

Expert Reply:
It does sound like something is amiss with the gear box, especially since the motor is running. Make sure the battery has a full charge before operating the landing gear. Sometimes if there isn't enough juice in the battery the landing gear motor will try but ultimately not lift or lower the trailer.
If you suspect the gearbox then for a replacement you can use # LG-179015. We also have # LC276602 for Venture aluminum landing gear.
