Is Titan BrakeRite SD Adapter Needed With Electric Over Hydraulic Compatible Brake Controller

Question:

If you but the Titan electric over Hydraulic kit and the Tehonsha P3 controller do you still need the ford/chevy converter from titan for everything to work. And if you do put the ford/chevy converter just incase someone tows with out a tehonsha P3 with the tehonsha P3 still work properly

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3, part # 90195 is compatible with electric over hydraulic braking systems once it's set to its EOH mode. You'd only need the # T4845900 adapter if your truck had the factory installed Ford brake controller.

If the trailer will be towed by other Ford or Chevy vehicles that have the factory brake controllers installed, you would use the # T4845900 adapter. If the other vehicles have an aftermarket electric over hydraulic compatible brake controller installed, you wouldn't need the adapter.
