Why Can't Sidewinders Be Used with a Colibert 208BW Fifth Wheel Hitch

The Colibert 208BW is designed to fit a B and W Turnover ball gooseneck hitch. The attachment method for the hitch is the one post in the center of the hitch that goes into the gooseneck hitch opening.
Sidewinders can not be used on hitches that only have a center attachment point. They can only be used on hitches that use 4 points of attachment.
The Sidewinder couplers will work well with all fifth wheel hitches, except for the following hitches:
- PullRite Super Glide
- Reese Trail Boss Fifth Wheel Head
- B&W Fifth Wheel Hitches
- Colibert 208BW
- Hi-Rise (Draw-Tite #9480, Bulldog #9481)
- Any other fifth wheel adapter that connects to a gooseneck ball
