Will Lid Of MaxxFan Plus Be Damaged If Opened Fully With FanMate Rain Cover Installed

Hello, I have MaxxFan Plus 4500K with electric opening lip. I want to buy a cover FanMate MA00-955003.html. I wonder if the lip of MaxxFan comes into contact with the FanMate in its fully open position? If so, is that the electric motor for automatic opening can break? Thank you!

The MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus, part # MA00-04500K will work great with the MaxxAir FanMate Rain Cover, part # MA00-955003.

The MA00-04500K is designed so that when the lid opens, if it comes into contact with the cover it automatically stops, preventing damage to the lid or the cover. The MA00-04500K also has a clip that the rain cover can attach to so you are good to go.
