Expert Reply:
Firestone rear axle Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring Kit # F2597 is a confirmed fit on your 2016 Ford F-250 4X4 diesel that has a 5th wheel hitch installed. I confirmed compatibility with Firestone. This is a no-drill installation; instructions are linked for your reference along with a video showing installation in a 2013 F-250. This kit provides load-leveling capacity of 3200- to 5000-lbs, plenty for most 5th wheel applications.
This kit includes all parts needed for installation and manual inflation. If you prefer to have the convenience of being able to air-up the bags from the comfort of the cab you might consider the Firestone Air Command Heavy-Duty Compressor # F2097. This single-path compressor will allow you to control air bag pressure for both springs at the same time.
Note that air bags MUST always have at minimum 5-psi pressure in them to prevent damage. Their maximum pressure is 100-psi.
