Westing Grille Guard and Mounting Bracket Recommendation for a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
I bought a used grill guard and im unsure what the grill guard part # is. Is the a place on the guard it would be? I laid out the mounts and guard but it dont seem to line up. Im installing it on 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 ext cab. If the brackets are wrong Id like to order a replacement kit but Im unsure as to what grill guard I have.

The thing about the Westin grille guards is that the mounting brackets and the grille guard itself are designed to fit a specific vehicle. Unless you have the correct grille guard for your 2009 Chevy Silverado there isn't a mounting hardware kit that would allow it to also install on your truck.
It would need to be the part # 45-2270 that you have for it to fit your truck.
If you did happen to have that grille guard and only needed the hardware the correct part number would be # 40-227PK.
