How to Pick Out a Cushioned Pin Box with Better Turning Clearance for Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
The description on this box says extended 12.5inch wide I assume that means its 12.5 wide box but how much is it extended the box I have now on a 2005 keystone rayptor 3612 toy hauler box ser# 4ydf361395m dont know what brand that is, will it have more extension ? witch is really what I am looking for with air ride to boot.

Fifth wheel trailer come with a few different pin box lengths. There are short, medium, long, and telescoping pin boxes.
The part # 5AB-E510-710 is designed as a replacement for a trailer that has an extended pin box already. One that has one of the following pin boxes:
Fabex 500, 503, 765 and 770
Lippert 1716
RBW 7028
To pick out an air ride pin box you will first need to determine what pin box you have and then pick out the correct replacement. This information will be listed up near the pin box on a plate or sticker.
Since you said you want extension plus air ride your best option is going to be a 5th Airborne with Sidewinder. Once you have figured out what pin box you have check out the link I attached that has all of the 5th Airborne Sidewinders we carry. You will need to select your pin box from the filters and the correct unit will be listed.
