Do the 6-Pole and 4-Pole Receptacles Work at the Same Time on Hopkins Adapter 37575

Question:

Will both plugs work at the same time? I have a car dolly with the 6 pin round and then magnetic brake lights for the car that use a separate 4 flat. I want to plug them both in and both to work. Is this what I need or something else? Thanks

Both the 6-pole and 4-pole pins on adapter # 37575 will have power. But you usually do not use them at the same time because they could potentially overload the wiring on the tow vehicle. You would just have to be sure that the combined power draw of all of the lights is less than what the wiring system on the tow vehicle is rated for. It will most likely be fine but better safe than sorry!
