The etrailerMotorcycle Carrier, part # e98873, can safely carry a motorcycle that weighs up to 400 lbs. The carrier has a weight capacity of 500 lbs. This carrier was tested thoroughly and found to be totally safe when carrying something that weighs up to 500 lbs and you will even be well under that.
You might also want to verify that the hitch on your tow vehicle has the capacity for the weight of your bike and carrier.
