Kayak Carrier and Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2011 GMC Sierra 2500 Crew Cab
Question:
i have a 14foot and 12foot kayak that needs to be transported on roof of truck when pulling fifth wheel. All videos and dealers/manufacturers only show one kayak but looking at wt limitations, i believe i can transport. What system do you suggest. the j-style seems like the best fitting solution.

As long as the roof of your 2011 GMC Sierra 2500 has the needed capacity to carry the weight of both of your kayaks you could easily do so with the Thule Hull A Port part # TH834 that you referenced.
You will need a roof rack on your truck though. For that you would want the Rhino Rack roof rack that consists of part numbers # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK227. This rack has been confirmed as a fit for your truck and has a 130 lb capacity.
