Recommended Air Suspension System For 2008 Ford F-350 With B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck
Question:
I have a 2008 F350 Super Duty with a BandW turnover ball installed. I am interested in adding air bags to level out my truck under load and want to know which products will fit. Thanks

Since the bracket for the B&W Turnover Gooseneck attaches to the outside of the frame rail on your F-350, I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2550.
I have attached a photo that shows the location on the frame rail. As the photo shows, the F2550 is installed on the inside of leaf springs. You can check that area out on your truck to make sure the Turnover Gooseneck does not interfere with the mounting of the Firestone air bags.
I also recommend an air compressor kit like part # F2097. This is a single function system that allows you to control the air pressure in the air bags from the comfort of your truck cab.
If you need to control the air pressure in the air bags independent of each other I recommend the Firestone Air Command II, part # F2219. This would allow you to control either side to level those uneven loads out.
Installing a suspension enhancement system in your truck does not increase the weight capacity of the truck and should be used with a suspension system in good working condition.
