Trike Carrier Recommendation for a HP Velo Scorpion
Question:
I have an HP Velo Scorpion plus 26inch purchased from Recumbent PDX in Portland. I live in San Diego and called them about a trike carrier. They recommended a Hollywood Rack. I would like to buy one from you, but I want to make sure I buy the right trike rack, since my trike is one of the largest ones on the market. It weighs 48 lbs., wheel base is 120 cm, track width is 86 cm and the overall length is 218 cm. I have a 2inch trailer hitch and I want the carrier to be stable. And I want to be able to lock the carrier to my hitch. What do I need? Thank you.

The Hollywood Racks trike rack that they recommended for you is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Trike Carrier # HR1000Z-R-TRKADP. This rack would do well to carry your recumbent trike so I would recommend it for you as well.
