Question:
Hi, Pulling a 30foot legend aluminum snowmobile trailer - 7000lb capacity - with a 2011 F150. Would like a weight distribution hitch system for it. This one seems like a good fit. 3 questions: 1. agree its a good fit 2. trailer is a post tongue - what adapter would work best 3. WIll be in the winter salt - what is the finish on this hitch and how well will it hold up in salt conditions?

If you have a pole tongue trailer you will need to use a pole tongue adapter like the # RP58393 to use a weight distribution system.
The Husky part # HT32218 is not compatible with this adapter and Husky does not offer an adapter so you would need to go with a Reese WD system.
For that the part # RP66542 would be great. This system has a tongue weight range of 600 lbs - 1,200 lbs so as long as your 7k trailer has a tongue weight of around 10-15 percent of the total trailer weight this should be a great option. This system is powdercoated to fight corrosion.
