Towing Mirror Recommendation for a 2016 Honda Pilot

Question:

Good day to you all! What is the better solution for a mirror extension for a 2016 Honda Pilot the K-Source KS3891 clip-on or the CIPA CM11980 clamp-on? I put the KS3891 on in the garage and it seems like it might work, but the mirror housing is tapered pretty good and it seems like a risk of sliding off. I just got my brake controller and two of the KS3891 from etrailer - before I open the 2nd KS3891, I wanted to see if there was a better product

I really like the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror # KS3891 that you have for your 2016 Honda Pilot. I think you would be much happier with them over the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror # CM11980 that you are also considering. The Cipa only attaches to the top of the mirror so it would be more susceptible to movement while you are travelling.

The only other towing mirror you might consider would be a door mounted mirror like the part # 11650 these are very stable and offer a pretty wide adjustable range for mirror placement.
