Recommendation for Transporting My 2 Seater Kayak with My 2015 Honda CR-V
Question:
How can I carry my 2 seater kayak with a 2015 CR-V? I have the rails on the sides of the roof, but I think I need crossbars. Can you recommend crossbars and the best way to carry my 12 ft kayak? Is there an easy way to load it by myself?

I have a couple of solutions for loading your kayak independently but lets start with the roof rack that will custom fit your vehicle.
With your style of roof the Thule # TH460R, and # THKIT3118 is a confirmed custom fit for your 2015 Honda CR-V. Add either WingBar # TH711200 for silver or # TH711220 for black to complete the system. This will give you a good base for your kayak carrier to sit on.
I noticed you were looking at the # SR5511 SportRack Kayak Carrier. This carrier is compatible with the Thule Roof Rack Kit I recommended. To make this carrier easier to load independently, I suggest the Rhino Rack Universal Side Loader # RR-RUSL. The Side Loader allows you to mount it directly to your roof rack and extend the cross bar to provide the ability to one-person load. It has an easy clamp-on design, foam padding that will protect your kayak from scratches, and a telescoping pole that accommodates different height vehicles.
I've attached videos of the Kayak Carriers and load assist options for your convenience.
