Recommended Towing Mirror for 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with Lights on the OEM Mirrors
Question:
Will the 11953 mirror fit on the FJ mirrors. They have a light on the back and are funky shape although mostly flat on back.

Helpful Expert Reply:
My contact at CIPA confirmed their Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror # 11953 will fit on just about any OEM mirror as long as the height of the mirror's exterior housing does not exceed 10-inches. This height dimension is more important to fit than the mirror's shape, according to my technical contact. The CIPA mirror's 13-inch-long mounting straps provide for a good fit on a wide range of mirror styles.
Of course, if your FJ mirrors have the forward-facing puddle lamps these may become partially covered by the mounting straps.
An installation video is linked for your reference.
