Will Curt RV Bumper Hitch with 2 Inch Receiver fit my North Trail by Heartland RV
Question:
Will your E-100 RV trailer hitch receiver fit on my North Trail by Heartland RV trailer?
asked by: Barry
Expert Reply:
The Curt E-100 Trailer Hitch Receiver is meant to be used on 4 inch square channel bumpers. You will need to measure your bumper and check to see if it is 4 inches square.
The maximum capacity of this hitch is 350 pounds tongue weight and 3,500 pounds gross towing weight. Check the owner manual of the trailer and see what the bumper capacity is. If it is less, you must abide by the lower number.
Make sure whatever bike rack or cargo carrier you will be using is built for use on the back of RVs and trailers. This hitch is not recommended for a tandem tow setup.
